For managers and purchasing teams

Purchase requests.
Clearer decisions.

Give the reviewer a clear account of what your team needs, when it is needed and why the purchase makes sense.

Start with sample details. Check your storage and team access before using live documents.

Prepare a purchase requisition

Open Create and choose Purchase requisition. Include the requestor, department, proposed supplier, item specifications, estimated amount, required date and business justification.

Example: equipment for a new starter

Request two monitors with an estimated total of INR 24,000. Include the proposed supplier and specifications so the manager can review the request before anyone places an order.

  • Items: Two monitors; include model and size
  • Estimated amount: INR 24,000
  • Business justification: Equipment for new team members
  • Required by: The planned equipment handover date

Get the decision in the right order

Check the preview and add supplier quotes or supporting records before requesting review. Approvers see the request in their Inbox when their turn is ready. A returned request can be corrected and resubmitted; the recorded decision stays with the document.

Continue through purchasing

An approved requisition records an internal decision. Prepare a purchase order as a separate guided workflow when needed, then use your organization’s process for ordering, delivery and supplier payment. A requisition does not place an order automatically.
